Long Day Yesterday
Yesterday we moved from Split to Zagreb but made a stop in the middle for Plitvice Lakes. It was four hours from Split to the lakes via bus. When we got there, we ended up only having an hour and a half to explore.... the lakes require six!!! So we bought the entrance ticket only to find out we didn't need it because our only option was to explore the top trail which doesn't even require a ticket. We were able to see one of the many lakes from afar. We then hopped back on a bus to Zagreb arriving at 7pm. Our apartment here is gorgeous, modern and has great views. We plan to take it easy today. Packing is on the list to do along with getting ice cream :-) Our Zagreb apartment.
